To enhance the quality of life in Central, MA, by gifting newly-made, hand-knit warmth to neighbors in need, and by teaching knitting to the elderly and to children, giving them purpose and engaging them in the community.

Our Mission:

To warm people in need, both their bodies and hearts. To warm their bodies we use a thick, heavy yarn that makes the warmest sweaters, hats, and mittens. Most of our funding goes towards purchasing this yarn. We warm their hearts by giving to people who have little, brand new items made by people who care.

Donations:

$25 is enough to give hats and mittens to 4 small children.
$50 donation will give 4 small children warm, new sweaters.
$100 donation will give 8 adults warm hats, mittens and scarves.

Donations should be made payable to our fiscal agent, Cleghorn Neighborhood Center, so your donation will be tax-deductible. Please write "for Warmer Winters" on the memo line, and send to Warmer Winters, 22 Hill Top Drive, Leominster, MA 01453.
